Just went through the best Christmas night out I ever experienced last night with my work, TLC. Was simply a hotel rented out for us, plenty of drink, roulette and blackjack tables and it was simply an absolute buzz! The night started off with me, Carl Darnley, the other Carl, Gareth and matt Webb all meeting up looking sexy as Dairy Milk:

We got to the do after taking half an hour in the freezing cold to get there, and instantly, we found the blackjack tables as shown by Webb, Dean, and Simon here:

Of course, with everyone looking as sexy as they did, there were naturally fights over who could fuck whom...

And some people looked like they may have stood at the blackjack table FAR too long, and hair may have been scalded by the lights overhead...

Soon, the drink started hitting home and some began to feel the strain...

While other people simply remind you of someone famous... anyone?

Meanwhile, the buffet wasn't up to everyone's standards, so some alternatives had to be seeked out...

And of course, 'blink just as the photo is taken' syndrome was also kicking in...

And some people just look simply fantastic together...

There really is something to be said against 'blinky eye' syndrome, I tells ya!

Sometimes, the lads just look so goddamn gorgeous the camera can nearly break from the sheer sex-itude that's on display...

A multitude of various characters on display, it's always obvious when the tipple has hit rock bottom...

And then at the end of the night, when that long walk home begins, you only have to look around at the beautiful people to see what effect such an evening can have on you...

So there you have it. An evening of sauce, blackjack, and endless mistakes and fun for all! it was fantastic, I nearly won a cruise to france for 4 people, and I must say i'm one lucky bastard when it comes to Blackjack.

Meanwhile, Naomi bought me some WICKED presents for xmas, the top two being a signed Lost poster:

And an absolutely FANTASTIC Poker lamp! I mean seriously!!! :D

Other presents of note included:

Toy Story 1 & 2 DVD box set
Candyman SE DVD
Jumanji Special Ed.
A Deluxe Poker set
A Cadbury's Selection box

I know she worries about how much things can cost her, or if she spent enough on me, but Naomi needs to realise that the things she bought me are far more valuable in terms of thoughtfulness than they ever could be where price is concerned. :) I LOVE a good thoughtful present, and she came out trumps against me this year, so bravo! :)

PS: These pics have made me realise just how much weight i've now put back ON since coming down here. NO!!!! I need to get back into shape for 2007, A year's work has been ruined in 3 months. Not happening come 2007.

9.12.06

WTF, since when did my blog become a haven of chat?!? :D Never seen so many comments in one of my comment windows, kudos to the lot of you!

I am gonna leave it at that with the mystery poster. There's no point naming when they will simply deny the truth, and while it's fun to go on taking the piss out of them... all things must pass. Ignorance can be bliss.

I'm off to play poker tonight with some chaps from work, which should be fun. Alcohol + Poker + PS2 & Eyetoy + Lack of Sensibility = *Family Fortunes failed guess sound*. I'm really looking forward to it, should be a buzz. Got a nice bonus to look forward to next week too... life is sweet. :D

27.11.06

the phantom mud-slinger strikes again. This time they left this witty retort:

haha, i'm clearly getting you for you to dedicate a whole post to me-how sweet of you.Get a grip you sad little man.

It took me a few reads to figure out what the fuck this first sentence actually meant, but I THINK they're trying to say 'getting TO you'. Soft shite. And it's nothing to do with 'getting' to me. When someone posts something as grammatically incorrect as you have, twice, I can't help but pick on them bit by bit. :D It's just funny. If you're gonna slag someone off, at least try to look clever whilst doing it, you just look like an idiot. As for calling me a sad little man... come on, who's posting anonymous, shitty threats online here? I'm DYING to name and shame you, but you'd just lie and say it wasn't who I know it was.

Anywho, work's going tough right now, very tough. Our team's been split in half, and the sales have really shot down as a result. We need more people on Cigna FCP!!! :( I'm really enjoying all the new people in my life though, that's for sure. There's a LOT of people working with me, at least 100 on the floor I am calling on, so LOADS of new faces and peeps to get to know.

Portsmouth's an interesting place, a whole different way of life down here. I don't miss scallies, and I certainly NEVER see any 'chav's' down here. Youth's don't hang round street corners with bottles and cans of cider, you never see them hanging round outside of off-licences... it's weird. And nice. And I tell ya what, it's just not cold down here! I mean it is, but not like what Liverpool is like right now. It's like the mild cold that Liverpool feels in maybe September. It's just not freezing. It's weird like that.

I definitely look forward to coming back up north though, that's for sure. Plenty of faces i'm eager to see, others less so but I can hopefully avoid them. The ones I do want to see will know where I am and what i'm doing when I am there. :)

17.11.06

Yet another anonymous post! It's wonderful how the negative posts of my blog are always anonymous. :D Let's dissect this mother-fucker:

You are full of shit, Carl.

In some respect, i'll give them this, but then aren't we ALL full of shit in some respect?

People who move away want to experience life on their own and met new people.

WHAT. THE. FUCK??? People don't move away to experience life on their own and meet new people, do you have ANY idea what the fuck you just said??? So, by your logic, I moved down south to be all on my lonesome, BUT... I wanted to meet new people too? It's time's like this I think of Doc Brown's 'Paradox' explanation from Back to the Future:

Marty: Oh man, that's heavy!

Moving away is nothing to do with wanting to be on your own, or meeting new people. SOMETIMES it is, but not for all people. I moved down south for a better job, as well as to be closer to my girlfriend. Whether I met new people or not wasn't a big factor for me. I'm not a dickhead who needs acceptance from others to feel at one with himself. I mean seriously, WTF mate!

If anyone's lazy round here, it's the likes of you who only get round to moving on now.

Yes, i'm so lazy. I moved 200 miles away for a brand new FULL-TIME job, I pay for my own place with all my own money, I do all this while trying my hardest to maintain a super-strong relationship. I walk about 4 miles to work and back 5 days a week, I stand on my feet for 8 hours every weekday selling cancer insurance to very needy people who benefit heavily from it and... when you put it like that, I really am a lazy fucker aren't I? Christ almighty, if I lie down, I may just DIE from laziness. Let me guess, you're working part-time, you call university 'full-time', and no doubt there's a loan hiding somewhere to help you out of any little mess you get yourself into. At least i took a Uni loan out for no other reason than to simply get shit I don't need, not pretend i'm independent by paying for all my rent, food, and bills with it.

You're so opinionated, but it's a rule for you and another for everyone else.

EVERYONE'S opinionated. The world would be a very fucking boring place if we didn't have any opinions. You ever read '1984'? Oh sorry, you've only watched Big Brother haven't you? Nevermind, but hey, the new Harry Potter book's out next year, yee-haw! And if that's even too heavy for you, there's always the Liverpool Echo's sports pages for you to go through! :D

Get over yourself and stop being a dick.

If there's anyone who is bashful about themselves, it's me. I'm the leading seller in my 16-man strong team at work and I HATE the attention I get as a result of it. Talk about being big-headed!As for being a dick... well, the southerners love me. :D Even the guys. Many a guy down here would glady love to fuck my scouse accent if they could, poor darlings. Maybe that's why you get kicks out of saying such negative things about me anonymously. Reminds me of Helga Pataki from Hey Arnold! actually... there's another psycho.

Ya know, it's funny... anytime in the past someone has hated on me online, it's always been anonymously. Why do these people hide? It's pointless really, anonymous could be anyone so your opinion doesn't really carry any weight without a visible motive, you know? In this case, it's pretty obvious who it is, if you REALLY think about it. Some people just can't resist trying to get involved with my life, even when i'm 200 miles away! :D Jealousy is a cruel yet sweet thing.

Anywho, enough picking at grammatically incorrect posts, my job's gone just great this week, even earned me some mince pies and maltesers which is better than a kick in the bollocks! Loving the job, loving Portsmouth, and down here people don't judge. And they CERTAINLY don't slag you off behind their backs. Or anonymously. Pricks. Or idiots. No, I like pricks better. Prick.

It seems i've become quite the popular one in my workplace. Everywhere I walk there's someone shouting out, "Oy, Scouse!". Yes, i now have the enviable nick-name of 'Scouse'. Original ain't it?

It's going great in there right now, really loving and enjoying it, and life in Portsmouth continues to be just swish! Everything really is going just great, and i'm really having a buzz with this new life of mine. It's a world away from the one I knew in Liverpool, and it's weird having that much more independence to myself.

I do often wonder how it is in Liverpool, what's changing, what's not, how people are, how the city itself is moving forward / backward / sideways, etc. It's weird calling anywhere but there my home town I guess... Still, i'll be back up soon enough, and i'm really looking forward to it. :)

So, nothing much more to add really, job's going great, things are great between me and Naomi, and i'm meeting so many new cool people with every passing day. Moving away could very well be the best thing that ever happened to me. I stil think that student's who move away are the laziest, most un-independent little fuckers ever though. Bastards.

Long time no see.

I am currently a resident of Gosport in Hampshire then. It's a whole world away from the lifestyle in Liverpool. It has its pro's and cons, a lot of advantages over L'pool, a lot of disadvantages too. i won't go into detail about it all, but needless to say, the change was definitely a fucking good idea. I'm enjoying my job a lot, loving where I live, meeting some amazing new people, and i've really settled in nicely!

My birthday came and went last week without much event but I received some amazing gifts off Naomi, and my family sent me the stuff I really wanted too. :) So I definitely thank em' all for the wonderful gifts I received but Naomi's were an absolute sight to behold. When I realised she'd sent off for a glossy version of one of my fave comic strips ever, signed by the author of it, I was in heaven. That is one fucking amazing present right there my friends.

Just had an excellent night out on Friday with my boys Karl and Carl D from my team in work, and my Naomi was there with me. It was essentially a works night out, but boy did we make it our own. Haven't been THAT drunk in so fucking long, was an absolute blast. Spent quite a bit mind you, but was worth it for the experience.

So, am I missing Liverpool? I don't think I can say yes to be honest. I was at first, but I suddenly have so much going on with work, with my new place, and trying to keep my life in order; shopping was never so tough!!! Will I be back up to l'pool? Hell yeah, i'm back for Christmas for instance, and after that? Who knows. But i'll definitely make the odd sporadic visits back up north when the time allows it that's for sure. And anyone from up north i'm still in touch with who fancies a visit down here, you're all more than welcome to. Plenty of room here in my place; just gotta pay ya own transport! : P

20.10.06

Whoever 'anonymous' was from my last posts comments, just e-mail me. I'd rather you at least told me all that and then tell me who you are then say it and stay anonymous. By staying anonymous, I can only disregard it and shrug it off. So whoever you are, at least e-mail me if you're willing to, and whatever shit we might have with eachother, we might be able to straighten it out with eachother. This was a huge problem I had with people after what happened with me and Naomi; the right people stayed silent for the wrong reasons. It was the people who I least expected to come face to face with me who actually did, and I still keep in contact with them as a result.

Anyway, i'm back in Liverpool this weekend, just to pack up all my stuff. It's going to be weird coming from down south back up north, and only for a couple of days... very weird. It's always been the other way round. I have a LOT of stuff to do thhis weekend and just hope to god I actually do it all. It's a short time-span to get everything I want I guess, so I am going to have to be real thorough, and real quick wiith it all.

The job's gooing good. It's tough, but i'm confident i'll get better at it. I aim to do better, and am discovering little techniques all the time to help me get further and further with my conversations. The time will come when i'm hitting at least 4 sales each day...

Not much else to say right now! I'm back from 9 tonight, till anytime sunday, so if you wanna see me, I MAY have the time, but it looks pretty unlikely. Give me a holler anyway and we'll see what I can do. : P

15.10.06

Quick note to Skippy; my family certainly weren't included in my 'absence' from people up north! :P And neither are the people like your fine self, of course not. I was just in a extreme mood that last blog I guess, thouh there are of course still a lot of people I simply have no time for anymore. Anywho, enough about this shit, you wanna know how it's going down here...

My life has changed for the better. I have a new fantastic job which I LOVE in tele-marketing (got my first sale on Friday, woo-hoo!!!). I have a wonderful team who are the following:

Aimee
Carl D
Karl
Becky
Tilly
Ricky
Omolade
Kieran
Emma

And last but not least, my fantastic scouse team leader Damien, and my QA head Andy. All are fucking amazing people who have all greeted me into the job with open arms. With the exception of Aimee, we all started the job together and we all have really thrown ourselves into it. The money is AMAZING; they're simply throwing easy money our way for sales. But the sales ARE tricky and they all boil down to great communication and building a great temporary business relationship up with your customer. I LOVE this job. I don't know why, maybe it's the staff, maybe the money, I dunno, I just love it.

I also now have my own place, another woo-hoo! It's cheap, with all bills paid, and a huge bedroom of my own. It's not my own place, a house-share for now until I settle down into the job and my new location. But i'm really happy with this decision and I certainly don't regret one bit of it.

So Portsmouth has now become my new abode... for a lot of you, you'll now have to keep up to date with what I get up to down here on this here blog. For the rest of you, you'll know when i'm coming back up north for a bit. :)

Until next time... adieu. And keep on shining.

PS: Uncle Auto = AWWWWWW!!!!!

2.10.06

So, I have two job interviews for down south this week and next.

Yes people, i'm finally fleeing the harsh realities of the north and heading for the green pastures of the hazy south. I have interviews to be a data entry clerk and a customer services advisor, both extremely good money compared to what I have ever been on up in Liverpool. It's Portsmouth i'm heading to, yes, where Naomi lives. That should give you some kind of an indication as to how our relationship is right now.

I am not sad to be leaving. After the failure that was Sony, and a lot of other factors up here, i'm really relieved that these opportunities have arisen. I HAVE to grab them by the horns and take them down. I need these jobs. I need to get away from Liverpool and start a new life elsewhere. if this happens, I will be so over the moon i'll become a new star.

There may be people up here who want to see me before I go but, I doubt this will happen. I leave tomorrow, having only found out about the interviews today, and if I get the job down south, the only reason i'll return up north is to get stuff of mine which I want with me down south. Otherwise, you'll likely never see me again. The harshness of life's ways hits you at times like these, but so be it. You have to make sacrifices if you're to move on with your life. And this is the biggest step i'll ever take. Wish me luck.

18.9.06

I'm looking for another job yet again. I no longer work with Sony, and it's a shame because it was a really good job at times. I don't think I can discuss the nature of my exit, so I won't, but needless to say, i'm out on my ass again.

I seem to just bring pain, misery, and failure onto myself. I don't know what it is I am doing but that's just how it looks at times. But i've also looked at this latest mishap as having a positive side to it. Having that job was stopping me doing other things I really wanted to do, more important to me than even the job, and so I don't totally lose my job with a sad heart. In fact, the positives of me no longer working there far outweigh the negatives. But I am unemployed now. And I REALLY hate not working. Argh.

Where does one go from here? Well i'm not just going to sit round doing nothing. After this whirlwind day is over and I wake up tomorrow, I have to look to the future and start getting on with everything again. It's funny but I told someone last night that, "Tomorrow is the beginning of a new week, and with it comes new possibilities." I had NO idea how very true that was going to ring out today. I think this was a sign today; I lose my 'dream' job and yet I don't feel too much anguish over it... maybe something good will come my way soon enough. Here's to hoping.

25.8.06

Our cat Tigger died. I've never been that big a fan of cats or dogs since I found out I was allergic, but Tigger had been with us for half my life and it's quite sad to see such a staple of your every day life just go so suddenly. I named her, and I hope she liked it. Here's to you, Tiggy Boo.

Saw 'Snakes on a Plane' with Naomi this week, it was FANTASTIC. Simply hilarious, scary, action-packed, everything you need from a summer blockbuster. If you haven't saw Sam Jackson blasting those slithering sods away yet, GO. NOW.

The Sony job is going really well, though it's quite tiring and frustrating. I've played nothing but two EA sports titles (automatic ARGH!!!) and the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (good, but far too basic for a fighting game). Considering i've worked 3 weeks there now, consider that i've played one game straight each week for 40 solid hours. Do you have ANY idea how much a person can hate one game after being exposed to it for so long?? But the pay's good, the people I work with are super-friendly and funny, and i'm really enjoying it. :)

I came to this blog hoping to pack it with shit that's been going on, but at the very beginning of typing, something felt empty within. I think it's because Naomi's out tonight, and even just one night without her is a killer. But I hope she has a good time and enjoys herself, because she could do with it. Meanwhile, i'll be getting an early night in bed, for work tomorrow. : P Then I have 4 straight days off... god do I love my work shifts.

12.8.06

I started a new job with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Once known as Psygnosis to most of you, now known as Studio / Sony Liverpool to the rest, i'm a video games tester for them. It's a full-time job, i'm on a 3 month trial contract but I am very confident i'll succeed in securing a permanent one after the 3 months are up, right in time for my 23rd birthday.

It's helping me through the bad times that have been there for the past month, though I can't say playing FIFA 2007 for 30 hours in a week is my idea of relief! But it's definitely a step in the right direction, and I feel it's the best thing that's ever happened to me career-wise. The only way is up as far as i'm concerned. The job itself is pretty involving, the people I work with are great, and the perks are just fantastic in there. I won't go into them because I would be here all day! Needless to say, i'm sorted for games in the future.

I considered talking about developments with me and Naomi but then thought fuck it. Anyone who needs to know how things are with me and her, will find out from me because they deserve to know. Most people are just after gossip, and i've been surprised by the reactions of a lot of folk out there who quite simply fucked up royally with me. I'm not talking one, or two people, but countless. I've lost a shitload of friends because of this situation, but it's at least helped me realise who my real friends are; the ones who will actually sit there and listen to me. And sadly, the number of 'friends' in my life has truly shot down because of it. But at least my eyes have been opened. As said in John 9:1-11, "Where once I was blind, now I can see."

Thanks for the comment Kristine. I've added your new e-mail to MSN, and I dunno about getting to London anytime soon but thanks for the offer, i'll keep it in mind! :) Hope things are just fucking great with you and Alex.

29.7.06

I leave in 7 hours to go down south and stay with Naomi for 3 nights. I'm both eager and scared shitless about it. I really want nothing more than to just try and cheer her up again, even if only by the most miniscule of margins. It's the least I can do for her, but also all I want to do for her. When you love someone as much as I do, you eventually learn to just forget about what you need, and instead concentrate on putting everything into what they need. Right now, she needs happiness. Considering what I have done to her, I owe my life to her to try and find that happiness for her.

I just want to thank the people who have been there for me. There isn't many, but the gang at Music Zone are definitely at the top of my list, and one day I will make absolutely sure that they all realise just how much this past week has meant to me. I have been a wreck in work, at times not being able to cope with trying to put on a happy face for the customers. They have really pulled through for me, at a time when everyone who saw this situation from the outside simply crucified me.

I never asked for sympathy, because when you do what I did to anyone you care for, it's the last thing you deserve. All I wanted was understanding. And the few people who actually braved up to the task to challenge me on this, understood my plight. Yes, they all said I was a dickhead for what I did, and they all have wished me luck in my trip down south and hope dearly that I can resolve my issues with Naomi as they stand.

If Naomi decides this week, or in the future, that we are not to be, I will accept it. I won't be the stereotypical leech, who can't let go of the past, and makes life hell for the ex. I will simply allow her to move on with her life, let her know I would be here for her whenever she needed me, and hope inside that one day she may offer me that second chance. Everyone deserves a second chance. I never say never. If you asked me what I want... I think you already know the answer to that. I want to show her how sorry I am, how much she means to me, and make a start at another go at what we once had. I have had the best times of my life with her; I would be a fool not to embrace another opportunity at that. But my priority here is just to see the love of my life happy again, whether it's me who does that or not doesn't entirely matter; just so long as she returns to being the smiling, funny, bubbly, but most of all, warm-hearted princess that's she famous for. People like Naomi Kelly, you don't see them every day. She's truly one in a million, and I will forever feel honoured that I was able to get as close to her as I have done. Countless people will never know how good she can make you feel. For that I am eternally grateful to her.

I love you always Naomi. x

23.7.06

I'm not after sympathy, so anyone who thinks otherwise needs to rethink. I know I fucked up and I can't change what I did. I have learnt my lesson, and I know deep down inside myself that I could never do this again, to anyone. For their sake and for mine. My pain doesn't compare to Naomi's right now, but I still have a huge depression looming over me from it. And don't even think of telling me, "Well you shouldn't have done it then." That doesn't make you a chat-show presenter with the intelligence of Miriam Stoppard.

I am doing everything I can to win her back. It's the last thing I deserve I know, but I fucked up big time, I know I fucked up, and I have to show this woman that I have learnt from it, but most of all, I love her so much. And to think of the grief and anguish i've caused her tears me up inside, because it's ME. I've just spent the best 17 months of my life, because of her. She's made me a better man. She helped me lose 50 pounds in weight. She helped me on the way to leading a healthier lifestyle. She helped me become a better man all-round and for that I truly love her to bits. I found someone in Naomi who challenged me; who pushed me to better myself at all times, and because of her aura, I did. I never ever gave up.

But on Saturday night I did fuck up. And I failed her in every respect. I don't need anyone, ANYONE to tell me what I did was wrong, because I know it was. I was the one who did it. I was the one who tore her life apart. You might think it's easy for a cheat to live with themselves after what they have done to someone. For some cheats, I guess they can just not give a shit. But for me, this woman was my life. I sacrificed a lot of friendships through my own choice to put in EVERYTHING of my body and soul into building what we wanted together. Naomi was, and still is my life. I will do anything it takes to win her back, and I don't care how long it takes, because she's worth every second, hour, day, week, month, year, and decade of my life. And if it takes a decade to get her back, so be it. I have decades plenty ahead of me. Cheating on her isn't easy to live with. It's the been the worst week of my life because of what i've done to her. The worst because of how much I lied to her thinking I could protect her feelings and try to put this event out of my head in the hope I would never have to break and destroy her world around her. I've committed the worst sin to the one person who I ever truly loved. I have to learn from this, and beg her for a second chance.

There'll be people out there telling her she's insane for considering the idea, but these are the people who don't know me; the ones who hear what i've done and simply label me as another Jerry Springer sleaze; the ones who very rarely ever saw the two of us together, if ever at all; the ones who chose the easy option in just going to her to comfort her, but shit out when it came to telling me that yes, I am an absolute cunt / twat / bastard / prick. The people who HAVE actually got in touch with me in person or on the phone, every single one of them realises how sorry I am for this, but also knows that I can't give up on her. She may have given up on me, she may not have. But either way, I will NEVER give up on her. I have support out there, even if it's little, but it's still there, and when even her parents are behind me to patch this back up, I have to believe there'll always be a chance for it. She's the love of my life and I have to try and win her back.

PS: I'm also happy for the person who said that I should watch out for the bad karma 'on my way out'. I'm currently in the middle of seeing my uncle draw slowly to his death after he tried to hang himself last night, as well as find out that a man who once had the utmost faith in me, is now in hospital on his death-bed, close to death at any minute. So thank you very much, your celebrated karma is doing wonders in helping to kill off any sense of fucking normality that may have been left out there after what i've done. See you at the funeral/s.

So, i'm watching this new gameshow, 'Pokerface' hosted by the 'amazingly talented' Ant & Dec. Now, like 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' and 'Deal or no Deal', I enjoy the concept of it. It's original, it offers good cash prizes, dare I say they're even tense at times? But where the FUCK do these contestants come from???

I cannot help watching this 'Pokerface' and feel like it's one big act. Ant & Dec look bored, the contestants are so ridiculously pompous and unfunny, in fact the only sensible people in there are the audience who genuinely sound like they're enjoying themselves.

Are we dealing with actors here? We're supposed to believe that these people are NEVER on television and yet they sit there as if there isn't a camera upon them. They say smug comments, act like they're half-presenting the show with them Geordie gobshites, and basically make the viewer hope and pray that they don't win ANYTHING at all.

I wonder if the producers are as gormless as the Big Brother producers... they seem to get annoying pricks on their series all the time now, I direct you to Nikki / Jayne of BB7, Maxwell / Saskia of BB6, and Michelle / Marco of BB5. I hope to god this isn't a realistic representation of modern day society, because if it is, i'm in the wrong country!!!

30.6.06

It seems like you can't please everyone. Like, something you do for the good of one person pisses off someone else, and vice versa. I wish people could just co-exist and not hate ME because i'm true to myself and sticking to my beliefs. *Cries. A lot.*

On a totally unrelated note, some things you never knew about Music Zone...

1. The Urban fans are the most fucking dirtiest fucks you'd ever meet. Not a day goes by in that place that someone hasn't flicked through all the Jay-Z, Eminem, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Mobb Deep, Neyo, Bow-wow (who apparently ain't so little anymore), and other various mis-spelt hip-hop till you drop be-bop cops, and totally destroyed the section. Urban fans suck ass. Metal fans on the other hand are pretty respectful, that section's always pretty tidy and in order. But urban? FUCK NO!

2. Yes, we really can sell the dvd's and albums that cheap and make a profit. If you see an album for 97p, our company will likely be making about 50p profit on it. It might not seem much, but we'll often get about 100 - 200 copies of that one album through one sale, and that ends up amounting to anywhere between £50 and £100 profit. Might not seem much, but that's just ONE album. We might get another 10 albums at 97p... then there's the ones at 1.97, 2.97, 3.97, etc... that company is making a SHITLOAD, and doesn't dare rise above the national minimum wage for its staff.

3. It really is legal for us to deny a customer a refund on the basis their Uncle Jimmy's already bought it for them, or they didn't like it, or it was the wrong one. We can exchange or give a credit note to the same value but NO refund. IF you want your refund, just tell the staff it's broken or won't work. The establishment is then legally obligated to have to refund your purchase. FTW!

4. We actually get our new releases into the shop about 4 or 5 days before they go on sale. So when you're waiting for the Monday to come when the new Harry Potter dvd, RHCP album, Simpsons box set is released, we'll already have been in their presence days in advance. HOWEVER... the company will not let us purchase them in advance. Ya'd think that with our shitty pay, long hours, boring job, we might get a few perks but oh no, our 10% discount will have to suffice. On a related note, HMV staff receive 30% discount *car swerves and crashes into brick wall*.

5. And finally, when we say if it's not there, we won't have it in stock, we REALLY mean it. Honestly. That is of course, if the staff member has ran off to the back to check there for you. If they haven't, they're likely bull-shitting you just so they can have a peaceful time of it and get a pain-in-the-ass (i.e. you) out of their face. I ALWAYS dash to help customers and will look everywhere, but if I can't see it in the back or on the shelves... if it's not there, we don't have it.

I bet there's loads more I could have told you about Music Zone, but that's all that's come to mind right now. This expose was brought to you by Rainbow Road productions, for all your starry needs! :)

This is my 476th post!!! Huzzah! We should all celebrate with a proper rum-do!

Onto more pressing events tho; life is kinda peachy, kinda shitty. I'll tell you one thing that's cool now; no longer being involved with other people's affairs. I've conditioned myself over the past year to try my best to keep my nose out of other people's business as well as keep my opinions to myself and such and I think this last year has seen the least confrontations and back-stabbing and Grace-from-BB7-fulness antics ever. And it's cool. Not to say I don't still see shit transpiring around me, but what I see shall stay in my mind as of now... unless those people come to me for advice. And shit.

The World Cup's been enjoyable, BB7 has got a LOT better now Sezer and Grace have been booted out, now all I need is a full-time job, my Naomi by my side permanently, and I very well could be the happiest guy alive.

Harvey Danger ftw

27.5.06

It's been a while...

Big Brother 7 is iffy, the World Cup team is looking iffy, the weather's confusing, and I just finished watching the 2nd series of Lost (So THAT'S why the plane crashed!!! *Slaps forehead). Life's pretty sweet as of late tho my health ain't. I always seem to be ill when Naomi's coming up to be with me!!! ARGH!!! Always the way... it'll be a cold, runny nose, wheezy chest, bad throat, constant headaches, itchy cough... ARGH!!! Why can't I just be constantly healthy like everyone else always seems to be? :(

I have no excuse for being away so long, it just happened like that. What can I say, i'm a lazy cunt. Maybe i'll pick it up again, but then Naomi's up here for 2 - 3 weeks so I can't promise anything for sure. She comes first... and I come seco*Gets blasted by shotgun*

11.5.06

People who take shit you need without asking = ARGH!!!

The big news this week has been the inclusion of Theo Walcott into England's 2006 World Cup Squad. Personally? I hope to god he sinks and burns. Sven has fucked himself up BIG time with this. He's took someone to the world Cup who is 17. Now, the age itself isn't usually a factor, but when you couple this with the fact the guy has never even played a Premier League game, you've got to start scratching your head. I see two vastly different outcomes to this, both ending with misery for Eriksson:

1. Walcott goes to the World Cup and sees some action, but fails miserably. He has a SHITLOAD to live up to, and nevermind trying to make his name in the Premiership, but he simply won't do it in the World Cup. This kid is being thrown head first into the biggest tournament in the world with no top-flight experience.

2. He doesn't even see any play-time because Sven opts to go with more experienced strikers (PRAY for this), but then this leaves the public AND Sven with a bit of a dilemma; Walcott has immediately become the next big thing, and sadly for us British, HE WILL become the next Posh & Becks / Wayne & Colleen (is there ANYONE out there who doesn't find this thing repugnant?). As if we don't have enough celebrity exposure across the news, the papers, and the internet, we're gonna be having yet another football couple thrown at us. But if he doesn't play the games he's suddenly being hailed our saviour for, what then? Will the papers continue to glorify this guy and the schoolgirl (the next Colleen) he's dating, or will they just act as if it never happened and continue to go on about Shrek & Tango Girl / Posh & Becks?

Some of you may wonder where the option of Walcott playing his boots off is. I simply can't see this happening. I'd LOVE to be proven wrong, but Walcott is not going to surprise us. Even if he does play at all, expect only sub-standard performances. The other teams in our groups must be pissing themselves at the fact our nation has suddenly branded a Championship League player as our hero for the World Cup... let's get behind Peter Crouch instead, he's the guy who WILL be having to play most of the attacker's role for England.

If Walcott DOES become a staple for this tournament... we're gonna have no chance of winning it. Though I never did think we would anyway.

I was looking forward to this World Cup, and now i'm feeling angry about it cos' it's suddenly turned into the Wal Cott. Wayne Rooney must be devastated. His big news break has now become tiny paragraphs cos' of a kid who is in a position he once was.

2.5.06

It's a funny old world we live in, it really is. Sometimes I don't know whether i'm coming or going in it. Often you wonder if what you're doing is ever even going to be appreciated, and though you believe deep down inside it WILL be, you can't help but less the pessimistic side of you bubble up to the surface.

Is it wrong to remain true to yourself? If say, you haven't changed in years, and suddenly a person you've known for a long time disagrees with a part of your personality which has ALWAYS been there and they've never previously had a problem with it, should you change to keep them happy, or stay true to yourself? Sometimes I just don't know what the right thing to do is in this world of ours. Feel like I have to watch if I sneeze cos' i'll offend someone, or i'm scared to open a door for someone because they're worried I have deeper hidden motives for doing so.

I wish we could just accept eachother for who we are. Respect eachother's decisions, likes, dislikes, whatever, and just get along with eachother. Why would we want to change people to be more like ourselves? In that case, if you had your own way, you'd have a world FULL of copies of yourself and it would hardly make for the most interesting society if everyone was the same.

I wish I had a straight solid answer, but nowadays I don't seem to. I always seem to be wondering, never answering.

On a sidenote, I applied for a great sounding job only two days ago, full-time too, and they've already got back in touch to tell me they're gonna let me know about the recruitment process! :) I'm extremely happy with this change of events, and I hope something comes of this because, while Music Zone is an ok place to work, it can be pretty monotonous and considering there's no near-future hope of full-time work there, I simply can't wait that long on shitty part-time hours. Viva la career change!

25.4.06

The sun can't cheer me up right now.

And I don't really know what else to say. However, i've made a promise to someone that I won't say anything, and so i'm forced to eat away at myself like a cannibal. Metaphorically speaking. And even i didn't find that funny.

And now you're standing on a rocky ledge,
Staring down into a heartless sea,
Can't face life on a razor's edge,
Nothing's what you thought it would be.

All of us get lost in the darkness,
Dreamers learn to stare at the stars,
All of us do time in the gutter,
Dreamers turn to look at the cars,
Turn around and walk the razor's edge...

Don't turn your back and slam the door on me.

14.4.06

Praise be to Skippy for the wonderful comment she left on the last post I made.

It's hit that time of the year where, well, in my case, the weather is good enough that you find yourself waking up of a morning, stepping out into that glorious sunshine, and purposefully ignore the still-cold wind because that glorious blue near cloudless sky is simply a sight to behold after months of winter turmoil... *Takes HUGE breath* I love it. You can even feel the sun's warmth starting to slowly but surely creep through to our bodies. :) We had a game of footy last Thursday and a few of us even came away from it with a hint of sunburn to show for it; my brother came away looking like a ribena berry. Poor fucker. :D

Enjoy this coming weather, it looks like we may be up for a truly WONDERFUL summer. Sadly it's no doubt due to global warming, but for the short-term future let's just enjoy these higher temperatures. I know I bloody well will be.

3.4.06

It's amazing what some people will do for the perfect vision of happiness. Someone I know has just told me she's become engaged to a guy who pretty much comes off a twat. And this opinion has come from what SHE has told me. And i'm apparently not the only one who is shocked by this sudden announcement...

I just think a lot of people are happy to go diving for the first thing that comes along, in fear that the same opportunity won't arise again. I'm with girlfriend number 3, after two failed relationships. I could have threw everything I had into the first girl; got engaged, got her pregnant, truly have myself thrown in at the deep end. But I didn't. It didn't work out, we both realised that, and we moved on. The second relationship... you all know pretty much what happened with that, and while it was more serious, we were both still lucky to come out of it unscathed in the long term.

This relationship could be the one for me. The one I would be more than happy to see myself being in for the rest of my life. But i've been lucky in this respect. Some people are blinded and panic with relationships, thinking each new one is immediately 'the one'.

Just take your time, for YOUR sake... if you go diving head-first into everything that comes your way, you're risking the real possibility of being hurt, and in a bad way too. I'm not saying you should be cautious with EVERYTHING... I mean jesus, you can still turn the telly on hastily! :P But consider the things that can and will change your life... because quite often these are events which you don't get 2nd chances at.

24.3.06

I hate being unhappy. I just absolutely hate it. Of course, I sincerely doubt anyone out there actually enjoys it, but as i'm rarely unhappy, when I am, it hits me for six.

I've been unhappy for just under 24 hours now. The reason i won't divulge, but when it set on me... argh. I don't know what to do when i'm sad. My usual answer is to try to bury myself in a book, try and indulge in a movie, listen to music which coincides with my mood (Harvey Danger FTW), anything to just take my mind off it. But it rarely works.

Sometimes I wish there was someone there who could just yank me out of these pits of depression, slap me about a bit, and put a temporary smile on my face. Not necessarily a partner, but more of a... kindred spirit. Someone who knows what you're going through and can show just how different things can be. I have a few people i'd love to ring up and just talk to in the hope it might bring me back up but then I imagine i'd only be getting in the way, or pissing them off with my miserable mood.

I'm not good with this kinda thing, and usually just slither away into my own little spot. I think that's what i'll do right now.

15.3.06

If you know me at all well, you'll know i'm an absolute geek for dvd's. Fucking love em'. However, I have a problem with buying dvd's and then not watching them, THEN buying more dvd's and so on and so on. I currently have over 300 dvd's in my OWN collection, our house probably houses at least another 200 more. All originals too, no copies. So, i've decided that, with the money i'm recklessly throwing out at new dvd's, i'm going to go through and watch ALL the films I haven't watched yet. Watch them all, and only then will I allow myself to buy more. This has a few positives to it.

1. In the time it takes me to watch all the films I need to, dvd's that are out now may have gone down in price.
2. I won't have movie's sitting there forever that were bought for the sake of it (I do buy for the sake of it)
3. I'll also hopefully broaden my horizons a little more!

The films in the pipeline are films i've either never seen or have seen but haven't watched since buying the dvd. I WILL watch these before buying more...

FILMS I HAVEN'T SEEN YET

About a Boy
Ali
Blow
The Bourne Supremacy
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
The Doors
The Firm
Football Factory
Friday After Next
Going Overboard
Hotel Rwanda
Life is Beautiful
The Mummy
The Mummy Returns
Once Upon a Time in America
The Pianist
Platoon
Rocky II
Rocky III
Rocky IV
Rocky V
Shaolin Soccer
Stuck On You
Tarzan
Tommy
Wamego: A Documentary
The Wind in the Willows
Zulu

FILMS I HAVE SEEN, BUT NOT WATCHED THE DVD YET

Antitrust
Apollo 13
Baseketball
Bridget Jones Diary
Chocolat
Elf
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Forrest Gump
Ghost World
Ghostbusters
Hannibal
In the Name of the Father
Land of the Dead
Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring / Cinematic Version
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King / Cinematic Version
The Lost Boys
Men in Black II
My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Papillon
Predator
Rocky I
Ronin
Schindler's List
Shallow Hal
Wedding Crashers

Ho, ho, holy shit. There's just over 50 films there... i'm gonna be busy. How much will I save tho? THAT's the cool part. I shall save this list and tick off what I watched and so on. Wish me luck, my buying dvd's is an addictions, and now i've got over 100 hours of film to watch before I can even consider buying more. Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

13.3.06

So I received this e-mail from a good friend of mine today, who shall remain nameless:

Hey it is Andy and john the directors of MSN, sorry for the interruption
but msn is closing down. this is because too many inconsiderate people are taking up all the name (eg making up lots of different accounts for
just one person), we only have 578 names left. If you would like to close
your account, DO NOT SEND THIS MESSAGE ON. If you would like to keep your account, then SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST. This is no joke, we will be shutting down the servers. Send it on, thanks. WHO EVER DOES NOT SEND THIS MESSEAGE, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE CLOSED AND YOU WILL COST £10.00 A MONTH TO USE. SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT
LIST. NOW YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. PLEASE DO NOT FORWARD THIS or REPLAY. COPY THE WHOLE EMAIL. GO BACK TO YOUR INBOX AND CLICK ON NEW. AND PASTE THANK YOU FOR
YOUR ATTENTION
hey everyone,
i dont normally send this sort of stuff out but had a look on the internet
and its actually true . On the 1st of november , we will have to pay for
the
use of our MSN and email accounts unless we send this message to at least
18
contacts on your contact list. It's no joke if you don't believe me then go
to the site ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/1189119.stm ) and see for
yourself. Anyways once you've sent this message to at least 18 contacts ,
your msn dude will become blue. please copy and paste don't forward cos
people won't take notice of it.

Now, e-mails like this REALLY piss me off, and in my usual fashion, i'll tell you why. First of all, which professional company makes as many grammatical / spelling / capitalising errors like this one supposedly does? There are 3 instances where letters should be capitalised in the opening two sentences for starters. This next bizarrely paragraphed section is pretty funny:

too many inconsiderate people are taking up all the name (eg making up lots of different accounts for
just one person), we only have 578 names left.

Inconsiderate people hey? MSN offered the Hotmail service to us, we can make as many accounts as we like. As for there only being supposedly 578 usernames left in the database, I mean come on! SERIOUSLY! :D I'm sure the likes of fhfhjhfkhgjkhg@hotmail.com, and ghguetyetyff478we4738@msn.com were snapped up ages ago. There will never be a shortage of usernames to sign up with. Why do you think MSN close accounts that haven't been used after a period? They close those names, and then put them back on the market for people to snap up. The above, is fucked up.

And what the fuck is this???

YOU WILL COST £10.00 A MONTH TO USE.

Oh will I know? If you're gonna use me, you better be a chick. i.e. this is one fucked up grammatical error which could have easily been avoided, and WOULD have been by any sensible company. But the retard who sent this out was either typing too fast, or was cracking one off while doing so and created yet another error.

SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT
LIST. NOW YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. PLEASE DO NOT FORWARD THIS or REPLAY. COPY THE WHOLE EMAIL. GO BACK TO YOUR INBOX AND CLICK ON NEW. AND PASTE THANK YOU FOR
YOUR ATTENTION

If the above is true, then somehow Microsoft are applying counter's to e-mails we're sending around. Ya know that e-mail ya sent with the funny picture, and then it got sent on again, and again?? Microsoft must be adding up the numbers of who it's being sent to. Why? WHO THE FUCK KNOWS? They can, and will. LOLZ. Ahem. NO-ONE is keeping tabs on where this e-mail is going, and if the e-mail WAS legit, it would be pretty impossible to keep tabs on whose sending and receiving this hunk of junk. It ain't happening people. And they recommend that we copy and paste; what the fuck did you expect me to do?? Type out the whole fucking letter??

i dont normally send this sort of stuff out but had a look on the internet
and its actually true . On the 1st of november , we will have to pay for
the
use of our MSN and email accounts unless we send this message to at least
18
contacts on your contact list.

Whoever dreamt up this fucking thing reckons we ONLY have until 1st November to get this mission accomplished. But what year??? And why 18 contacts? Why not a nice round 20?? Anywho, here's the 'proof'...

It's no joke if you don't believe me then go
to the site ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/1189119.stm ) and see for
yourself.

Granted, the link takes you to a legit enough looking BBC news page, but wonderfully, the article is listed as being from Sunday, 25 February, 2001, 11:00 GMT. So... over 5 years ago then? Boy am I fucked! I haven't paid for my MSN in over 5 years! At supposedly £60 a year, I owe a big £300 to those bastards at Microsoft. I'm fucked! Oh NOES!

Anyways once you've sent this message to at least 18 contacts ,
your msn dude will become blue. please copy and paste don't forward cos
people won't take notice of it.

Anyways, just fuck off and die. And what the fuck is my 'msn dude'??? Fucking retard. And who the hell even says 'dude' anymore like they're some fucking cool individual?? And what's this about having to forward, otherwise people won't notice it? Sadly, anyway you get this e-mail in your inbox you WILL notice it, and the silly sods out there who believe it will then go e-mail crazy and have it sent out to everyone they know. The bottom line is this: NEVER believe chain letters of any kind. I've never understood what the real point of them are. They're pointless and horrible, especially the ones that threaten you if you don't send them on,

SEND THIS LETTAR ON2 17.6 PEEPS OR HAVE YO TESTIES RIPpED OFF MY A PASSING CHAIN! lol

ALWAYS reply to these letters with the simple following message: FUCK OFF AND DIE, TWAT

Always works for me.

For me, it's amazing how refreshing a jog every now and then refreshes you for the day. I've started going for 2 mile jogs, and they're bringing a lot of good out in me, as well as helping me lose the weight i've been trying to, at a much faster rate. I'm looking to try and do 2 miles in around 12, 13 mins. These are my times for the 4 jogs i've done:

1. 18:43.5
2. 17:39.2
3. 17:08.5
4. 16:49.1

Now, I wasn't initially running for times, but I decided to time myself anyway, and noticed the drastic improvements over every new run. So i'll keep timing, and see how good I get. It's not like i'm running in a desperate attempt to shave more seconds off. I'm just jogging really. But it's definitely doing me a whole lot of good. It was tough at first, but i'm pulling through. :)

It's been a while since my last blog and a lot's happened. I got my job back at Music Zone. I'm working at the City Centre store for a month or two before being shipped off to a new store being built right now in Huyton. I can't wait for it, really looking forward to it! Sadly, it means I won't see friends in work as much anymore, but oh well. Some things we have to sacrifice in the process of making ourselves happier. A change will do me good.

Naomi came up for a week and we had the most amazing time. Went to a VERY packed out Blackpool, went the Krazy House again where we both had an excellent night, we went to Eddie Rockett's for the first time (Cheesy chips with bacon FTW) and had a great feed, took Alex out like the little couple we are... just had a bloody fucking good time. :) Things are going great for us, and with our impending anniversary on the 1st April approaching, they will only be getting better!

19.2.06

It's VERY rare that a video game grabs me from the get-go and doesn't let go. Super Mario World did it all those years ago; Final Fantasy VII DEFINITELY did it. Resident Evil 4 too. The latest guilty party to take me and sweep me off my feet is Shadow of the Colossus.

I only bought it on Friday night, and already i've completed it, only two days later. Now normally, after such a simple feat (albeit with a few needed tips) i'd be sickened by such a short length of a game. But this game has hit me in a way i've never been before, gaming wise. Some pics can be found on the site above, some in the following link:

http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/adventure/wandaandthecolossus/screenindex.html

I've never considered too much of video-gaming to be 'art' but SotC is art. In every sense of the word. Never have I felt so immersed into a gaming experience as I have these past two days with SotC. It's god-like. It's beautiful. It's just what gaming should be. And it's VERY rare to find something that looks so good, to play so well too.

I'll stop now, but if you have a PS2 and fancy a totally new gaming experience, PLEASE buy this game now. You can get a limited ed. version now while it's just came out, so get it while you can, cos' once these puppies are gone, they'll be going for £50+ on ebay in months to come.

9.2.06

I've got a quiet night ahead of me due to my beloved being off in France for tomorrow with her grandparents so... what does one do? I finally watched the rest of 'Lost' season 1 before, which is quite simply one of THE greatest programs ever. Simply. Amazing. But now that's over, i'm left wondering what to do. Probably just start gaming, i.e. do shit that'll get me nowhere in life.

Still, can think of worse things to do... like taking the dog out for a walk on a night as fucking cold as this one.

As you can tell, this was a blog which I approached with no real subject matter really, but it's been over a week since I last updated so thought I should kick this up the arse. And I did.

What is it about coach journeys that turn people into cunts?

I find myself quite the pro now with the ol' coach journey; done enough of them this past year to know which people are twats and which are ok. Why must people on these coaches have the most fucking annoying ring tone, and when they finally answer the bloody thing, proceed to let the whole coach know what their opinion is of Cathy snogging John on their most recent night out... i'm sorry, am I the only one who finds conversations like that to be truly fucking monotonous, pointless, dreary affairs which don't lead anywhere but to the individuals involved feeling like they've gained a point of respect for their increased knowledge of their social circle's actions???

I had a pair of scallies get on before...

A: Awww, there's no legroom lad.
B: It's get on the back seat then, innit? LOL|Z¬!!!11!1!!

I prayed they were closet homosexuals who were gonna lick eachother's lacoste tracksuits provocatively. Nay, they were simply yet another pair of scally gobshites with a pennysworth of intelligence between them.

I dunno, maybe i'm just a pretentious prick or something, but I have a major worry that where society was already in the duldrums, it's now going even lower, to a word that is so low it hasn't even been invented yet. Let's give it the temporary label of the 'shitstack'. The shitstack is where our world is heading for, because the general IQ of people is dropping quickly. Take Celeb Big Bro for instance. Chantelle Houghton (she shares the same surname as me, NOOOOO!!!!) didn't know what a gynocologist was. Now, I KNOW this isn't a lesson in life that is needed, but it's something that surely should be known by the general public, as known as what a chiropractor is, a pediatrician, an orthodontist, and so on. Remember jade Goody, thinking 'East Anglia' was a fucking AIRLINE??? Helen Adams in Big Bro 2 stating how 'I like blinking I do'; what the fuck???

Worst part is, the general public who watched these people, thought they were lovely because of these comments. So, simply, we've become a nation that celebrates dumbness as being cute. What the fuck next? A stupid ass president of the USA? A Prime Minister whose only retorts to criticisms of his running of the country are critisicms back at the person accusing him?

Call me a pretentious, above himself twat, but I hate the way we're going. Kids have become lazy, celebrity seems half-based on just how fucking stupid you are, and no-one wants to get out and endure a truly cultured moment.

If you want me, i'm on my way to the shitstack...

Ok, will people who read this PLEASE tell me what the fucking problem is with me wanting a bit of privacy? A few of my mates added Naomi, my girlfriend, to their myspaces. Ok, I didn't have an issue with that. However, one of them has since gone on to add her to his MSN messenger list.

Now, we all know fucking MSN, we all talk on there together, we all get our shits and giggles, the girls LOL, the lads send porn. However, my mates have always had a reputation for talking shit behind eachothers backs. Including me. If I don't want my girlfriend being brought into all this shit, which I myself had enough of years ago, my wishes should be respected, surely?? Now i've got him calling me childish, paranoid, over-protective, and her disappointed in me. He didn't even come to ask me if he COULD add her to MSN.

Seriously, what the fuck happened to looking after people you love?? I've seen people cry their eyes out because of the way my mates are. It's a viscious group to be a part of. I trust Naomi to the ends of the world, but i'd be lying if I said I trust my mates 100%. Christ, one of them openly admitted to me earlier this week that they'd only recently been discussing something about me that happened ages ago, but they still feel the need to bring it up even now. I'm talking well over a year ago. So... he's wondering why I don't 'trust her', which I do, and she's wondering what the big deal is with me wanting to keep my mates and my lovelife separate. Have I gone insane? I've a learnt a lot of the wrong shit because of the way my mates are. Even my brother looks at them and wonders how the fuck I manage. If I can't trust them talking to eachother, why the hell should I be happy about them talking to her without me knowing what's said?

HOWEVER... I still wouldn't swap them for anyone else. They're my mates because they've all left their impression on me, and it's one that I wouldn't want to ever see go. But if i'd have wanted them to get closer to my girlfriend anymore than they are right now, I would have given them her e-mail address ages ago.

Is it so much to simply expect a little bit of privacy in my separate lives, which they are? When i'm with my mates, i don't cart around any facet's of Naomi to show off, bug them with, bore them with, etc. On the same note, I don't go on about them to her, because I want to keep these two aspects of my life on different plains.

I'll end here. She's now not talking to me cos' she thinks i'm pissed off at her, and that's left me in a real fucking downer. It's always others who fuck it up for you.

I now no longer work in Music Zone. They simply couldn't justify keeping me on considering the hours they had so... i'm back to being unemployed. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted! And least I still have my lady, my health, and my dvd collection by my side. : P

One can only wonder where to go next from this. There's not a whole lot out there at the moment since Christmas just passed us by so... guess I just laze around trying to figure out what my next move could be. Don't you worry tho peeps, I won't be getting depressed anytime soon... don't think so anyway. :P

Anyways, enough sticky out tongue faces, i'm eagerly awaiting 'Celebrity' Big Brother. Get Jodie out and let's have a more sensible and less scally-ish show. George, Michael, and Dennis for the win! Viva le Revolution!
