2.1.04

Ok, so I DIDN'T get round to doing the unresolutions yesterday, but then it's been a hectic few days / nights, and I just wasn't up to them yesterday. So, again a 'unresolution' is when you tell yourself you'll do something, but if you don't, you don't have to kick yourself for not doing it because it was never a promise in the first place! The easy way!

Auto's 2004 list of 'Unresolutions'

1. Lose at least 2 stone. (How unresolute is THAT!!!)
2. TRY... to enjoy University this year (It's quite the challenge I know, but hey, SOMEBODY must enjoy it... right???)
3. Go see Rush!!!!! (Now this IS one I am going to be doing fo' sho'. Rush are my musical gods. They ARE touring next year. Oh... my... god........)
4. I'm going to be there for whoever needs me. (I told myself recently I wouldn't do this because so many people I knew were making mistakes after I told them not to, but I decided i'd have to be there for them when they DO make that mistake, even if they didn't listen to me initially.)
5. Reach 300 DVD's with my DVD collection (I WILL do it... I hope)
6. Keep this blog going. (The blog wasn't updated so much in 2002, and last year's was just so much better, despite a lot of it being very depressing. The blog WILL go on peeps, onwards and upwards.)
7. Remain true to myself. (I typed this up last year, and I believe I stayed as genuine to my person as possible. I intend to keep this up this year. it's VERY easy to be lead away by the masses. Stay tru to yourself, and feel better because of it.)
8. Meet the 'Purcell'. (I can imagine there's probably literally only 1 or 2 peeps reading this who understand this resolution. I WILL meet you, and it COULD be this year... but that's only if money treats me well. And vice versa.)
9. ( I did have one more unresolution to make, but this is one that could offend / annoy / awkwardise (?) some people out there, so I decided not to unleash it on here. Don't ask me for it either, because you won't hear it unless I think you need to.)

So there they are. Why not 10? Come on! How cliched! 9's my thing now. So yeah, the new year's unresolutions. Will they be carried through? Maybe. Maybe not. But either way, I intend to see 2004 as being a much better year overall. 2003, the first half was amazing. The second half was just sickeningly awful. 2004 WILL be better. I've promised myself that, and also believe it will be. 2003 was one hell of a testing time but I managed to pull through. I think 2004 should reward me in some way, whatever way. If you can recognise your last year to have been awful, there's no shame in expecting a better next one.
