I have stood up for the rights of my fellow screen studies production practice students! No more shall we remain silent, in our regime of fear and uniformality! No more shall we stick to THE deadline, but demand an extension! No more sha... alright then, so it was JUST me who did this. but I did send an e-mail to a Mrs. Alex Lonsdale requesting an extension for EVERY group in my Prod. Prac. class because we've not had enough time basically to film it. It felt so liberating. 'll probably fail in my demand tho. :D
On a side-note, me and my brother have decided to start work on a short film script. It wouldn't be more than 15 mins at the max, 5 minutes at the minimum. We're probably looking to start filming it sometime after Christmas. I'm SURE we'll need some actors/actresses, but we wouldn't want practicing actors/actresses. We'd prefer people who have no acting experience in their lives. Like me and my brother. We're not looking to blow the industry apart or anything though, it's more like something for me and him, but hey, you never know when you'll need something like this in the future as a media student. Eitherway, we haven't even started writing the script yet, but we're brainstorming heavily, and when we figure out the plot, setting, characters, we'll start asking our dearly beloved chums if they want in on the 'Houghton' project. We can't promise it'll be amazing, but it's going to be fun and something each person involved can remember for the rest of their lives. We'll keep you posted.
