Day 7 : Continued

I must give a shout out to the impressively seductive Skippybird, who never ever backs down from giving my disgraceful blog a mention. She's such a brave lady to associate herself with me, i'm so proud of her. And so if any of you reading this site would please go and visit hers afterward, it'd make my day, as well as hers. Go, NOW!

Day 7: Hell

3 hours to go before we were going to go beddy byes. We were watching Minority Report, and I was just going to get a drink when Kay (Our supervisor) ran into the room. She told us she had bad news. I had been waiting for something like this to happen. She told us she'd got news that the fire from earlier on in the day had destroyed any wires leading to our air conditioning and it had now been classified as a fire hazard until it'd get fixed. And that meant us getting out of the room there and then. So for the next three hours, absolutely exhausted after being up for 15 hours, we had to haul chairs, fridges, microwaves, clothes, bags, etc, up two flights of stairs. I was killed. I really was. I may have even lost a pound or two with the exercise it was that strenuous. It was not a happy end to the day.

We're now alive on the same floor as our bedroom. Which I suppose is handier to get from our new living room which is only round the corner in the corridor. It also makes it easier for us to apply the wires to our heads, or the EEG's as they're collectively known in our circle. :) I must admit, i'm having to settle down again, AND re-adjust my location after getting used to downstairs for a week, but it's the price you have to pay in this extreme isolation environment. I begged them to block our windows as well so we couldn't see outside. That was a godsend, I couldn't face any nights of waking up and seeing a pitch black sky for the next 7 hours. It'd just be too freaky.

On a side-note, visit www.projectrockstar.com if you wanna get involved with one of the coolest Band Management games on the net. I'm on there with my group aptly named 'Auto2112'! We are about to release 'Stuck Inside', our first single... I wonder what that's based on??? :)
