I've had a long rough and tough day.

It started this morning when I went to uni, looking forward to getting the first of only two tests this semester over and done with. I sit down at my desk, watch two clips of the same extract from a TV programme and I was great! The second we were told we could start writing, I was hit by a sickening cough. i didn't feel ill, I hadn't coughed once on the way to Uni, but the moment I went to put pen to paper it hit me. And then ten minutes before the end of the test it stopped. Instantly.

I have always believed that we're not in total control of our lives but I don't instead place the blame on fate. There's something else out there (NOT THE MATRIX!!!) that's god an evil wicked hand in what actions take place in our everyday lives. That's the only reason i can think of for why this happened today because for 4 hours afterward i also didn't cough once. Since about 3pm i've been coughing non-stop but just forget that part! : P My dad reckons my 'test cough' was just down to nerves, as does me mum, but i wasn't even worried about it. I just wanted to get it over with so i had one less thing to study for. Not to worry for.

Apart from that, not much has happened. I did buy Citizen Kane, The Bourne Identity, and The Road to Perdition on DVD today.

Citizen Kane: It's considered a classic but I failed to see this aspect of this otherwise average film. 5 / 10
The Bourne Identity: The first half was fantastic. The second half tried a little too hard. But I really enjoyed it as a whole. 8 / 10
Road to Perdition: Haven't watched this yet but I have high hopes for it.
