What a week.
Tuesday: Finished off Uni finally, with an essay to hand in and an exam to do. Only an hour long too so weren't too bad. I left the building not really giving a shit. not worrying about what the rest of my compadres of the first year would be doing over the next 3 months. It sounds extremely bitter I know, but what can I say, I don't care for University too much, nor its lifestyle. I want to do the course i'm doing cos I genuinely love the art of film direction and production but as for the rest of the people who are doing it, i'm not too worried about them really. A quick shout out however goes to Marc, Matt, Michelle, Kristine, Jenny, Michelle G, Nick, and Jo Binks. Mr. Binks I haven't spoken to as much as i'd have liked but he always asked our groups fantastic questions in our presentations, both in the first and second semester. I didn't get to thank him for that face to face and I really wish I had. Have to wait until september for that now. Overall, the University year had definitely been productive and the only shame is that the tapes weren't user friendly enough for me to get copies of our work to show you. It's great work that's for sure. Who knows, maybe when i've directed my first movie, i'll include these first pieces of work on my first ever DVD as easter eggs. :P Some hope for that, but ya never know...
Wednesday: Enjoyed the laziness of not having to do anything but hated the fact also that I didn't have to do anything. Phoned work up in the hope that they'd have me in for Thursday but Karen only wanted me for friday. What a shame I thought, still I had the idea of decorating our room on thursday, needs stripping and painting... Hah.
Thursday: My 'hah' of the last day comes in the form of Lee friggin' off to Blakes for the day (and night), and my dad fucking off to bed for the day before going to work for the night. the task of decorating mine and lee's room was not going to happen. So I HAD to have a day of nothing. I HATE these days. I had a long talk with Sarah tonight though, an extremely productive one. Sometimes tricky, sometimes hard, but it was needed. All relationships have teething problems, like trying to get used to the other person's wants, needs, changes, etc, and I guess it's just us trying to work around that. We'll do it.
Apart from that, not a whole lot has happened. Sorry if I bored you all, but i only write because you ask me to! don't think i enjoy this or anything! ;)
