So yes, here we are. Another year. Another month. Another day. Another fuck-up.
Actually, I shouldn't sound so negative as i've had quite a good jolly day today, though it is very hard to remain positive working for a company like The Listening Company. But I shall remain upbeat and take my days each as they come.
I miss a lot of people. There's so many people I barely get in touch with because saying hi over an internet site or e-mail seems so fucking minor. I can't help but wonder if it's possible that I can maintain good friendships when i'm so far from the people who once made such an impact on myself. It's times like this I would love to be in Liverpool, surrounded by those like myself because, with the exception of my amazingly wonderful southern friend Simon Pound, I feel at a loss down here. Not a lot of people have a good sense of humour, they don't deal with sarcasm well, and I unfortunately work for a place where getting to know someone well is not advised as they'll probably leave within a week anyway.

Me and Simon. Yesterday.
And realistically, besides Simon, I don't really have 'real' friends down here. Colleagues in the workplace yeah, but outside of that? Bah. It's that kinda thing that makes me miss Liverpool, though I still stand by my decision to never live there again unless it was a last resort.
I don't have faith. I don't believe in belief. You can call me Faithless, you can me faithless.
I still cling to hope, and I believe in love, that's faith enough for me, faith enough for me.

Carl, is your dad Carl as well?
Ahh Mr Houghton you need to be happier! I've not checked in yet on your blog this year and when I do I see you're sad.
Just remember days when bouncy castles mixed with vodka seemed like a great idea, there was nothing more exciting than you and Chris attempting to tidy up and there was no party like a Krazy party :)
Take care and chin up
Miss Sefton x
